Our Mission
Our mission is to build the shared data infrastructure that enables the social sector to work as a connected ecosystem, where trusted information flows responsibly, collaboration is seamless, and more time and resources are directed toward creating impact.
Vision & Values
Philanthropy Data Solutions envisions a world where the social sector operates as a connected ecosystem, with trusted information flowing responsibly across organizations, platforms, and borders to accelerate social impact. We believe that data should be collected once, reused many times, and governed in ways that preserve trust, transparency, equity, and organizational agency. Our work is guided by a commitment to collaboration over competition, open and interoperable infrastructure, responsible innovation, and locally led solutions.
We serve the global social sector, including nonprofits and civil society organizations, funders, grants management system providers, data intermediaries, philanthropy-serving organizations, and governments, with a particular focus on reducing barriers for smaller and locally led organizations that are too often excluded by fragmented systems and duplicative reporting requirements. Ultimately, we exist to serve the nonprofit and civil society sector and, through it, the communities those organizations support, because every hour returned to a nonprofit through improved data practices is an hour returned to creating impact.
